Forge is a training app. It stores what you put in it so it can hand you the next effort, and nothing beyond that. This page says exactly what is stored, who else can see it, and how to take it all back.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | It is your account. Sign-in, and the rare message about your account. |
| Your programs | What you dropped in — a coach's PDF, a photo of a whiteboard, or words you typed — and the plan Forge read out of it. |
| Your sessions and sets | What you actually did, when, and any note you wrote on the day. When you type, say or drop what you did, Forge also keeps those words as you gave them, beside what it read from them, so a wrong reading can be found and fixed. |
| Your profile answers | Disciplines, goals, sessions per week, experience, bodyweight and units, gear on hand — the answers you gave in onboarding. |
| Your sacred sets and their ticks | The things you keep, and the days you kept them. |
| What you said to Forge | The conversation in Discuss, and any change you accepted, so the program remembers it. |
| Your voice, only when you use it | Nothing, unless you press Speak or turn on hands-free in a session. Then Apple's speech recognition turns what you say into text — on your device when it can, on Apple's servers otherwise. When you use Say it, that short clip is also sent once to OpenAI, so the words come back spelled the way Forge spells movements. Forge keeps the words it heard as a set or a note, never the audio. |
| What broke | When a screen fails, a short diagnostic line — which screen, what it was doing, the app version — so it can be fixed. No content of your training is in it, except the words above that you gave Forge to read. |
| What you use | Which of Forge's features you tap and when, by the feature's name only — never what you typed or trained — so we can see what helps and what nobody finds. |
| The guide list, only if you join it | If you ask for a guide on the website: your email, which guide (hybrid, climbing or fighting), and how many programs you follow if you said. Used to send that guide, one email when the iPhone app is on the App Store, and the odd note when there is news. Every email has a link to leave, and leaving deletes the address. |
| Your mobile number, only for Forge Text | If you join Forge Text: your number, the time you agreed to the texts and on which page, and the texts between you and Forge, so it can send your session, keep what you reply, and answer you. |
| Subscription state | Whether the account is open, and the payment identifiers our payment processor gives us. Forge never sees your card. |
Forge does not collect contacts, location, browsing outside the app, advertising identifiers, or health data from Apple Health or any wearable. There is no tracking across other companies' apps and no advertising.
Nobody buys this data, because it is not for sale. Forge does not sell or share personal information, and nothing here is used for advertising.
Forge texts you only if you agreed on the Forge Text page, and only at the number you gave. Mobile numbers and the agreement to receive texts are never shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Twilio, which delivers the texts, handles them only to deliver them. Reply STOP to stop all texts, and HELP for help. Deleting your account deletes your number and your texts with it.
Delete your account in the app: Me → Delete account. Two taps, and it is gone: your programs, sessions, notes, sacred sets, profile answers and your sign-in, deleted from the database. There is no undo, and no copy kept for us.
Want a copy of everything first, or a deletion by hand? Write to jared.yusef@gmail.com from the address on the account and it is done within 30 days.
As long as the account exists. Delete the account and it goes with it. Records we are required to keep for tax or fraud (a payment record, for example) stay with Stripe under their retention rules, without your training data attached.
Forge is not built for children and is not directed at anyone under 13. If a child's account turns up, write to the address above and it will be deleted.
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion, and Forge will do it — the in-app delete does the last one immediately. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the legal basis is the contract between us (running the app you asked for) and our legitimate interest in keeping it working. If you are in California, Forge does not sell or share personal information as those words are defined there.
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app says so before the change takes effect.
Forge is made by Jared (Yusef) Amen and operated by Amen Labs LLC. Questions, deletions, anything: jared.yusef@gmail.com.
